✨ Game Update: Improved Interactions & Resource Auto-Collect ✨


Lots of progress has been made over the past few weeks! We’ve been improving the game based on your feedback 🙂

Here’s what’s new:

⚔️ Gameplay & Balance

  • Reworked interaction area to target terrain instead of colliders.
  • Balanced upgrade costs.
  • Balanced Harvest Area upgrades.
  • Adjusted ability damage (now scales with player damage % instead of flat values).
  • Increased resource count per land.
  • Increased health scaling for resources, including Tier 2 and Umbracite Crystals.
  • Reworked experience calculation and adjusted level scaling.

🛠️ New Features

  • Added resource spawners in unfinished levels.
  • Items now auto-collect after game over.
  • Added hover effect to resources when others are hidden.
  • Abilities now trigger on resource auto-collect.
  • Added error indicator and improved selection logic.

🎨 Visuals & UI

  • Improved Storm & Shield upgrade descriptions for clarity.
  • Updated Desert and Snow land graphics.
  • Added in-game Settings panel.
  • Updated upgrade button visuals and border styling.
  • Added unknown upgrades in the hub for better clarity.
  • Fixed shield UI scaling.
  • The last selected level for each land is now saved.

🔊 Audio

  • Reworked AudioManager with improved audio concurrency.
  • Adjusted sound effects and button audio.
  • Fixed Star Fragments audio.

🐛 Fixes & Polish

  • Fixed issues with Umbracite spawning, damaging, and game-over conditions.
  • Improved collider handling and delays for resources and items.
  • Fixed a bug where camera zoom couldn’t be disabled in settings.
  • Auto-click is now disabled by default.
